Frank Krull died at his home, No. 221 DuPage street at 6 o'clock last eveing after a lingering illness. The cause of his death was a malady which he contracted while serving in the United States army in the Phillippine Island.
Mr. Krull was born in Elgin, 24 years ago. He was educated in the public schools of this city. In the early part of 1899, he enlisted with Company E. He was sent to the Phillippines, where he served for three years. Returning to this country he was stationed in various places. For a time he was a member of the guard at Fort Walla Walla, Washington, and later was transferred to Fort Baird, New Mexico. For a time he served at Fort Assiboine, Mont.
In 1905 his enlistment expired and he returned to Elgin. He worked at the carpenter trade until his last illness. Only last November he was married to Miss Lillia Lawndher.
Besiodes the widow he is survived by two brothers John, of Nebraska, and Andrew, of Beloit, Wis. He was the son of the late John Krull.
