John J. Jackson, 272 N. Spring St., died Saturday evening at Sherman hospital.
He was a member of E. A. York Camp of Spanish War Veteran, having served with Company K of the 37th U. S. Infantry during the Spanish-American War.
He is survived by his mother, Marian English of Wilmington, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Trotter of Boney Falls, Mich., Mrs. Grace Wheatley of Chicago; two brothers, Hugh and William of Chicago.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, friends may call at the Wait-Ross-Allison funeral chapel.

Funeral service for John J. Jackson, 272 Spring Str., who died Saturday evening at Sherman hospital, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 from the Wait-Ross-Allison funeral chapel. Burial will be in Bluff City cemetery.
