Charles E. Peterson of Co. E did not go to Puerto Rico much to his disappointment. He is ill of stomach trouble in the hospital at Fortress Monroe.

Charles E. , son of John Peterson of 125 Oak street arrived home from Fortress Monroe, Sunday evening. He has been in hospital there for several weeks. He was employed in the watch case factory, and was one of the first to enlisted in company E when the call was made. He has a thirty days furlough.
