     A telegram from Newport News states that on account of physical disabilities Pvt. Edward Runge of Co. D, and Cpl. Lester Hardiman of Co. E were placed at the Fortress Monroe hospital.

     Edward Runge, another Elgin boy, ill of rheumatism is in the hospital at Pint Comfort, Va.
